Hello, introduce yourself please.

Hello! My name is Iris Dimopoulou, I am 14 years old. I was born on October 24, 2011. I am Greek and I live in Athens.

What languages do you speak?

I speak English, Greek, Russian, French, Spanish and a little Serbia.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at seven years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

No, it’s just me.

In which club do you train?

I train in Teniska Akademija Zivkovic.

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Tamara Mihajlovic, Nikola Zivkovic and Katerina Paissiou.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train every day for three hours tennis, for one hour fitness and I stretch around 45 minutes.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

My mindset is my greatest quality, I never give up and I always fight for every point. I need to improve some technical parts.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

I haven’t played national tournaments for a while because I left my country to come to Niš to practice, but right now I am number 30.

What has been your greatest achievement?

I haven’t achieved anything that I actually consider as a success, I have done some very good performances but my success is still ahead.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

I have played tournaments all over Greece, in Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Serbia.

Do you have any sponsors?

No, I don’t have any sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?

I want to win some Tennis Europe’s 1st category, and perform well in my first ITF tournaments.

What is your tennis dream?

My tennis dream is to win as many French Open’s as nobody has ever won in tennis history.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

I really admire Elena Rybakina, Carlos Alcaraz, Ben Shelton and Jannik Sinner.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis I like to read books, draw, and spend time with my friends and family.
