Hello, introduce yourself please.Hi, I’m Ignacio Davio, I’m 11 years old, I was born on April 21, 2014, I’m Argentinian, from San Isidro, Buenos Aires.
What languages do you speak?I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?Yes, there’s another tennis player in my family: my dad.
In which club do you train?I train at Club Comercio and Club del Plata.
Who are your coaches?My coaches are Jorge Vázquez and Cristian Ayan.
What is your weekly training routine?I train every day of the week, physical conditioning and tennis, for 3 hours a day.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My best skill is my forehand, and I need to improve my backhand a bit more.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I’m in the under-12 category, and my ranking is 20th in Argentina.
What have been your greatest successes so far?My biggest achievement is winning a regional tournament and traveling all over Argentina.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I’ve played in Argentina and Uruguay.
Do you have any sponsors?Right now, I don’t have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?My goal is to be in the top 10 of the Argentinian rankings and get a sponsor.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to play in a Grand Slam.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis player is Francisco Cerundolo.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?Besides tennis, I enjoy spending time with friends.
