Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Gabriela Ferraz Carvalho, I’m 13 years old, I was born on March 30, 2012.
I’m Brazilian, and I live in Cuiabá, MT, Brazil.What languages do you speak?Portuguese, English and a little Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started at age 9.
Are there other tennis players in your family?Yes, my mother (reason I started) and my father.
In which club do you train?Tennis Company
Who are your coaches?Pedro, Livas, Danilo and Robson.
What is your weekly training routine?Monday to Saturday 3 hours a day, and on Saturday (1 hour).
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?My greatest quality is my forehand, and I believe I need to improve my self-confidence.
What is your junior category and your national ranking?14-year-old category, national ranking is in the process of being changed.
What has been your greatest achievement?Quarterfinals in doubles and singles (in my first COSAT) in Paraguay.
In which countries have you already played tournament?Brazil and Paraguay.
Do you have any sponsors?Yes, my parents lol! Just kidding, I don’t have any yet.
What is your goal for 2026?To give my best and through it have good results.
What is your tennis dream?To compete in a Grand Slam.
Who are your favorite tennis players?Sabalenka, Bia Haddad, João Fonseca and Alcaraz.
What do you like to do outside of tennis?To paint and travel.
To which people would you like to dedicate this interview?My family who is always with me and my team because I’m never alone on the court.
