Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Frankie Tavasoli, I am 10 years old, I was born on July 12, 2015.
I’m British and I live in London, England.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 7 years old and feel in love with it straight away!Are there other tennis players in your family?
I am the only person in family who plays tennis but I am trying to get them into it though, wish me luck. 🤞What is your club?
I play at Redbridge Sports Center, Gidea Park LTC and the Avenue LTC.
I like training at different clubs because I get to mix with lots of different people and make friends. ☺️Who is your coach?
My coach is Tom Higgins.How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train around 10h a week with about 2 hours of strength and conditioning.
I’d probably do more if I was allowed. 🙈What is your junior category and your national ranking?
I’m currently around 20th in Britain for U10 boys.What are your best performances?
I competed in my first National events this year.
It was such a fantastic experience and has inspired me to keep pushing forward to see what I can achieve.Do you have any sponsors?
NoWhat racket do you play with?
I use a Technifibre T-Flight at the moment and I really like it, I think it suits my style at the moment.In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
I’ve played in England, Scotland and Spain (but only in a summer camp event).What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play in a professional event.
Of course I would love to play at Wimbledon one day but realistically, I just want to do the best I can and enjoy the game for as long as possible.Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My favourite tennis players are Jannik Sinner because of his calm, focused attitude and ruthless skill and Alex De Minaur because of his super work ethic and kind nature. We met Alex at UTS and he was so nice to all the kids and spent a lot of time taking pictures and signing autographs and it really made me like him even more.What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis I love to play table tennis and watch football – let’s go Arsenal! 💪Thanks a lot Frankie!
