Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Federica Maldini, I am 13 years old and I was born on March 29, 2012 in the city of Salto, Uruguay.

What languages do you speak?

My native language is Spanish, but I can also speak English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was almost 5 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

There aren’t any other tennis players in my family, but many people play for fun.

Which club do you train with?

I train at Club Remeros Salto.

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Federico Dondo, Alejandro Hernandez, Maria Campos, and Franco Santurio.

What is your weekly training routine?

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I train for almost 5 hours, including physical conditioning, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, almost 4 hours.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My mindset is good, but if I simply improve small things, my tennis will be even better.

What is your tennis category and national ranking?

I am in the under-14 category and I am currently ranked number 3.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

My biggest achievement was qualifying for the South American under-12 Championships, representing Uruguay as the number 1 ranked player.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

Besides Uruguay, I have played tournaments in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Paraguay.

Do you have any sponsors?

Although I have the support of a brand, I am looking to change sponsors because I had to change my racket brand.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to improve my tennis skills so I can achieve all my objectives.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream tennis career would be to win a Grand Slam.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

Besides tennis, I really enjoy going to school, where all my friends are, and going to the gym.
