My name is Emilianna Vazquez. I was born on August 22, 2015. I am Mexican and I live in Mexico City, Mexico.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and a little English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 9 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only one. My dad started hitting balls with me.
In which club do you train?
I train at Escuelas Gato Tennis.
Who are the members of your team?
My coach is Alejandro Palacios and I train with the Gato Tennis team.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train from Monday to Sunday, 3 hours per day: 1 hour of fitness and 2 hours on court.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is that I have fun and my forehand. I need to work on not being too emotional.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in my category and I am ranked No. 59 nationally in UTR.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have been undefeated in the tournaments I have played.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have only played in Mexico.
Do you have any sponsors?
I do not have sponsors yet, but we are looking, and my coach is in talks with a couple.
What is your goal?
My goal is to win an official tournament.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to win Roland Garros.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Jannik Sinner because I really like him and I am his fan. I would love to see him play and spend time with him.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I enjoy swimming, and if I were not a tennis player, I would be a swimmer. I also like video games, music, playing guitar, any kind of sport, going to the cinema, eating, traveling, and drawing. I enjoy everything, but especially swimming and video games.
