I’m Declan Raphael Colin, I’m 12 years old.
I’m from Malaysia. I was born in Selangor but currently live in Pahang, a state on the East Coast of Malaysia.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 9 after the Covid lockdown. I started with group classes then moved on to private lessons.Are there other tennis players in your family?
My sister Lara Alaina also plays tennis in the G12U category.What is your club?
I don’t have one.Who is your coach?
I am coached by Coach Khairul and Coach Vasu.How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train about 20 hours a week including physical training.Do you have any sponsors?
I am currently sponsored by Babolat & Toalson.What racket do you play with?
Babolat Gen 11 Pure Drive (285g).What are your junior category, your national ranking and your best results?
I play in U12 and I am currently ranked No.2 in Malaysia.
My best result was when I represented Malaysia and helped my Country win the Bronze Medal in the South East Asia ATF U12. We have qualified to play the next level!In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore.What is your tennis dream?
