Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Cheima Ben Hadj Salem, I am 11 years old, I was born on January 30, 2014.
I am from Tunisia, I live in Tunis.

What languages do you speak?

Arabic, French and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at age of 4.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

My youngest brother.

In which club do you train?

I train in Tennis Club de Megrine in Tunis (TCMG).

Who are your coaches?

Two great Tunisian coaches : Anis Hachani and Abdelmajid Soudani.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train 6 days a week — 9 to 10 hours.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

My greatest strengths are my forehand and down-the-line backhand, and I want to improve my footwork.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

I am a U12 player and my national ranking is in the top 10.

What has been your greatest achievement?
  • finalist of the national U10 championship in 2024
  • 3rd place at the Paris Bowl Ten-Pro in August 2025
  • winner of a Masters tournament in Grenoble, France
In which countries have you already played tournament?

I played three times in France and so many times in Tunisia.

Do you have any sponsors?

No, but I hope Yonex one day…

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to finish in the top 3 (at the local level) and to win a high-level international tournament like a Ten-Pro tournament.

What is your tennis dream?

I dream of competing at the highest level as a professional and coaching promising players.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favourite tennis players are Mirra Andreeva and Elena Rybakina.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

I like to dance and listen to K-pop music.
