Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Cecília Mendonça, I am 11 years old, born on December 26, 2013.
I am Brazilian and I live in Belém, Pará, Brazil.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak English and French.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
4 years old

Are there other tennis players in your family?
I’m the only player in my family.

In which club do you train tennis?
I train at “Assembléia Paraense”.

Who is your tennis coach?
My teachers are coach Bruno and Augusto

What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day and do physical training 3 times a week.

What is your best shot and things you need to improve?
My forehand is strong and long, and I have a very good groundstroke.
I need to learn to be calm — I enter tournaments very nervous.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I play in the girls Under-12 category and next year I’m going to the U14 category.
I’m currently ranked 103rd in Brazil and 3rd in Pará.

What are your best tennis results?
I was runner-up in the Pará State Championship.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I recently played in Argentina.

What is the first country you dream of playing in?
I dream of playing in the USA.

Do you have any sponsors?
I don’t have one.

What is your tennis dream?
To become a professional player

Who are your favorite tennis players?
Serena Williams is my number one, and then Bia Haddad and João Fonseca.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I love going out with my friends and playing.
