Hello, introduce yourself please.

Hi, I’m Catalina Di Laura, I’m 13 years old, and I was born in Uruguay on March 13, 2012.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Spanish and a little English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was 11, and I started competing last year when I was 12.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

I’m the first generation in my family to play tennis.

Which club do you train with?

I train at the Círculo de Tenis de Montevideo (CTM Prado).

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Diego Demicheli and Leticia Demicheli.

What is your weekly training routine?

On Mondays and Wednesdays, I train in the morning from 9:00 to 10:30, and in the afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00, including physical conditioning.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I train only in the afternoon, also from 3:00 to 6:00.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

What is your tennis category and national ranking?

My junior category is Under 14, and I’m ranked #3 nationally for 2026.
In the Under 16 category, I started 2026 ranked #6.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

My greatest achievement so far was reaching the finals of a Masters tournament in my category, and I was also a finalist in a COSAT Under 14 tournament.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

I played in tournaments in Uruguay, Brazil, and Argentina.

Do you have any sponsors?

My sponsor is a company called Deco Enya.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to qualify for the South American Under 14 Championship.

What is your tennis dream?

My tennis dream is to be a professional player.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite tennis players are Maria Sharapova, Aryna Sabalenka, and Rafael Nadal.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis, I enjoy taking care of my dogs, hanging out with my friends, and staying active.
