Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hello! My name is Carolina Póvoa, I am 12 years old and I was born on March 15, 2013.
I live in Goiânia, in the capital of the State of Goiás, in the heart of Brazil.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 7 years old, during the pandemic, in 2020.Are there other tennis players in your family?
Not exactly, but I started tennis encouraged by my mother, who also loves the sport.What is your club?
I am currently not affiliated with any club.Who is your coach?
My coach is Felipe Mizukami, the best coach in the world.How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train 10 hours a week on the court, in addition to muscle strengthening sessions and physiotherapy.Do you pay attention to your diet, food and drink?
I have nutritional guidance, but I confess that eating healthily is a real challenge.
I have been vegetarian since birth, so I need supplements to keep up with the training load.What is your junior category and your national ranking?
My category is U12, and currently my national ranking is 85th.What are your best performances?
I have been Goias champion several times and I won first place in a Brazilian championship when I was 10 years old, playing in the Orange Ball category.Do you have any sponsors?
