Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Carlotta Arginelli, I am 12 years old and I was born on November 26, 2013.
I am Italian and I live in Modena, Italy.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Italian and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at 3 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

In my family, my father Alessandro Arginelli and my little sister Vittoria Arginelli also play tennis.

Which club do you train with?

My tennis club is Club La Meridiana.

Who are your coaches?

My coach is my father Alessandro Arginelli, national coach.

What is your weekly training routine?

I do 3 hours a day of tennis and 1 of athletics (obviously also warm-up and fatigue).

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My best quality is the forehand and I have to improve a lot the volleys and behavior on the field.

What is your tennis category and national ranking?

My ranking is #183 in Europe and #1 in Italy.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

My biggest success was definitely coming second in the Summer Cup, winning the Italian U12 championships and participating in the Master Tennis Europe.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

I played tournaments in Italy, Spain, France, Finland, Serbia, Sweden,Croatia, Switzerland and Malta.

Do you have any sponsors?

I have Wilson and Lotto as sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to improve more and more and maybe get around 20 European tennis.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to be a professional tennis player.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My great idol has always been Rafael Nadal.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis I like to draw and listen to music.

I dedicate this interview to my father and mother to always push me to give my best and always do my best.
