Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Araf Dervisoglu. I was born on May 10, 2017, and I am 9 years old. I am Turkish and I live in Antalya. I am a junior tennis player competing in my age category.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Turkish and I am learning English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad plays tennis and he is very supportive of me.
In which club do you train?
I currently participate in training sessions as an individual player.
Who is your coach?
I train with my coach, Faruk Bulut.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train regularly four days a week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strongest quality is my competitive spirit and the fact that I never give up. I want to improve my serve and footwork.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in my own age category, and I do not have an official ranking in Turkey yet.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my best results so far was finishing second in my group at the 9-and-under Orange Ball tournament organized by the Turkish Tennis Federation.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only participated in tournaments in Turkey.
Do you have any sponsors?
I do not have a sponsor right now, but I hope to have one in the future.
What is your goal for 2026?
In 2026, I want to participate in more tournaments and achieve better results.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player and represent my country.

I would like to meet Carlos Alcaraz because I really admire his fighting spirit and discipline.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy riding my bike and spending time with my friends.
