Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Anastasia Mirgatia. I’m 10 years old and I’m from Tbilisi, Georgia.
My date of birth is the 31th of August 2015.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Georgian, English, and German.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
I’m the only one in my family who plays tennis.

In which club do you train tennis?
I train at the “Green School Tennis Club” in Tbilisi.

Who is your tennis coach?
My coach is David Islamov.

What is your weekly training routine?
I train 6 days a week, for 2 hours each day.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My best qualities, according to my coach, are — one of the best forehands and backhands at my age, never giving up, and loving tennis with all my heart. I’m currently working on improving my serve.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I play in the U10 and U12 categories.

What has been your greatest achievement?
Within one year, I won 5 tournaments in the U10 category and finished runner-up twice.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
So far, I have only played tennis in Georgia.

Do you have any sponsors?
Yes, I have sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win the U12 championship.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become the first Georgian girl to win every Grand Slams and make history for Georgian tennis.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis players are Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Coco Gauff, and Serena Williams.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I love spending time with my friends, watching films, painting, skateboarding, having picnics with my family, and playing football with my brother.
