Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Amina Nurmakhan. I am 14 years old and I was born on March 13, 2011. I am from Kazakhstan, and my hometown is Almaty.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Kazakh, English, and Russian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was five years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only tennis player in my family.
In which club do you train?
Currently, I train independently and travel to different places for training and tournaments.
Who are your coaches?
My team consists of my tennis coach, my fitness coach, and myself.
What is your weekly training routine?
I usually train two to three times a day, combining tennis practice, fitness training, and recovery. Sunday is my rest day.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I believe my backhand is one of my greatest strengths. At the same time, I know there is always room for improvement, and I continue working on all aspects of my game, both physically and mentally.
What is your age category and your national ranking?
I am currently number one in my age category, and in the under-18 category I am ranked number eight.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my biggest achievements so far is winning a J30 tournament title and reaching the final of a J60 tournament. I am also part of the national team.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played many tournaments, mostly in Europe and Central America.
Do you have any sponsors?
At the moment, I do not have sponsors, but I hope to partner with sponsors in the future as my career develops.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to become one of the top 50 players in the under-18 category and continue improving my international ranking.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become world number one and win as many Grand Slam titles as possible.

I would love to meet Novak Djokovic because of his incredible discipline, mentality, and achievements in tennis.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy going out, traveling, and spending time with my family while relaxing and recovering between tournaments.
