My name is Amelia Vashenkova. I was born on September 13, 2014. I live in Kyrgyzstan, in Bishkek.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Russian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 3.5 years.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
My mom is also my tennis coach.
In which club do you train?
I train in a private tennis club in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
What is your age category and your ranking?
My age category is U14. I am number 1 in the national team under 12 and number 4 under 14 in the national ranking.
What is your weekly training routine?
I have tennis every day and physical training three times a week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I have a good serve and I need to improve my backhand.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have reached a quarterfinal in an ATF U14 tournament at the age of 11.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played ATF tournaments in Central Asian countries. Right now, I participate in the ITF Asia 14 & Under Development Championship finals.

What is your goal?
My goal is to play successfully in ATF tournaments and improve my ATF ranking.
