Hello, introduce yourself please.
Good afternoon, first of all, thank you for your interest. I will be happy to answer all your questions.
I am Alvaro Gomez, 11 years old, from Jaén, and living in Badajoz, Spain.

What languages ​​do you speak?
My native language is Spanish, and I speak English, a little French, and Portuguese.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis two years ago when I decided to stop being a soccer goalkeeper and dedicate myself to tennis, my great passion.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
Everyone in my family has been a soccer player, and currently, I am the only one who plays tennis.

In which club do you train tennis?
I have trained at several clubs.

Who is your tennis coach?
My current coach is my father, who is a tennis coach.

What is your weekly training routine?
My weekly routine is 20 hours a week, divided into 10 hours of physical training and 10 hours of on-court training.

What is your best shot and things you need to improve?
My best shots are the drive, drop shot, and slice, but I need to improve on all the other shots and, above all, gain more explosive strength and endurance.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I play in Under-12 and my current ranking is 19000 in Spain.

What are your best tennis results?
I’ve currently played in four tournaments: two regional tournaments, where I finished as a finalist, and two national tournaments reaching the quarterfinals.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
Spain

What is the first country you dream of playing in?
I want to play in the United Kingdom.

Do you have any sponsors?
I don’t currently have any sponsors.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become number 1 in the ATP, to win the ATP Finals, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis players are Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Alcaraz, and Sinner.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Other sports I practice and enjoy are cycling and swimming.
