Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi! My name is Alba Camuglia. I was born on December 20, 2014.
My mum is from the Philippines and my dad is from Italy and I live in Sydney, Australia.
I have Australian, Italian and Philippine citizenship.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak English and a bit of Italian, but I want to learn Tagalog.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at age 4, but I took it seriously at age 9.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
I’m the first person in my family to aspire to this tennis dream.

In which club do you train tennis?
I train at Nick Evans Academy at The Ark.

Who is your tennis coach?
Liza and Nick are my tennis coaches. Jason is my gym trainer and Mia is my reformer Pilates coach.

What is your weekly training routine?
Monday swimming, Tuesday private lesson and squad, Wednesday private lesson and gym training, Thursday squad, Friday private lesson, Saturday hitting, reformer Pilates and squad Sunday hitting and reformer Pilates.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My best shot is my forehand and I need to work on adding more top spin and having more movement around the court.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I currently compet in U12.

What has been your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement so far is being a finalist in the U10 NSW State Teams Championships as well as winning the final at my school’s Junior School Tournament!

In which countries have you already played tennis?
Italy and Australia

What is the first country you dream of playing in?
Philippines, Spain and I would like to go to Italy again to train.

Do you have any sponsors?
No I don’t have any sponsors yet but I would like to be sponsored by Head and Nike

What is your tennis dream?
I would like to make history by becoming the first Italian or Filipina woman to reach world number 1 and I would love to win Wimbledon.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favourite tennis players are Jannik Sinner and Jasmine Paolini and I love Rafa Nadal even though he retired.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I love going to the arcade with my family and getting prizes. I like swimming and lots of other sports. I love when my mum turns up the radio in the car because I love singing and I like to have adventures.
