Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Ahmed Mohi Azab, I am 14 years old, I was born on March 18, 2012.
I am Iraqi, and I live in Baghdad, Iraq.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Arabic and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at the age of 7.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

My father and uncle played tennis and they were the ones who told me about it.

In which club do you train?

I train at the Airline club.

Who are your coaches?

The coach is Captain Ali.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train six days a week at the stadium and gym, and have one day of rest.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

My strengths are my forehand and backhand, and I need to improve my passing game and my volleys.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

I played for 14 years and finished third in Iraq.

What has been your greatest achievement?

Fawzi over Jordan.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

Egypt and Jordan.

Do you have any sponsors?

I am sponsored by the Iraqi Tennis Federation.

What is your goal for 2026?

To become the Asian champion

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to become one of the top 10 in the world.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

Writing.

I dedicate this to my father, the coaches, Captain Hashim and Captain Kazem, and everyone else.
