Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi! My name is Agnese Jubele. I am 13 years old and I was born on October 29, 2012. I am from Latvia and I live in Riga. I am a junior tennis player competing in the U14 category.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Latvian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 and a half years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my younger sister also plays tennis. She is 7 years old.
In which club do you train?
I train at Tenisa Sporta Skola OPEN.
Who are your coaches?
My coach is Nils Briedis, and I also train within Tenisa Sporta Skola OPEN.
What is your weekly training routine?
I have six tennis practices per week and two physical training sessions.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strength is my serve, and I need to improve my volley.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in the U14 category. I am ranked No.1 in Latvia and around No.96 in Europe.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my best results was reaching the final of a tournament in Ireland last year.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, England, Ireland, Czechia, Turkey, and Sweden.
