Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi, my name is Adema Alseipulova. I am 13 years old and I was born on March 17, 2012. I live in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I am a junior tennis player competing at national and international level.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old. My older sister was already playing tennis, and that inspired me to try the sport as well.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my older sister plays tennis, and my family really enjoys the sport. Tennis is part of our daily life, and we never miss tournament broadcasts.
In which club do you train?
I train at Kazakhmys Tennis Club in Almaty.
Who is your coaching team?
At my club, we have six tennis coaches as well as physical and functional trainers working with around 30 players.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train six times a week for more than three hours a day.
What is your greatest strength as a player?
One of my biggest strengths is that I play left-handed. I am also a fighter on court and I never give up.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My best results include winning Tennis Europe tournaments and achieving many podium finishes in Kazakhstan tournaments in the U12 category. I also represented Kazakhstan in the U12 national team last year.
Do you have any sponsors?
I do not have any personal sponsors yet, but the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation has supported me for the last three years by providing grants to outstanding players in different age categories.
What racket do you play with?
I currently play with Yonex rackets after recently switching brands.
What are your goals?
For this year, I would be happy to finish in the Top 10. Next year, my goal is to become No.1.
Who are your favorite players?
I like Carlos Alcaraz for his will to win, and Aryna Sabalenka for her character.
