Hello, introduce yourself please.Hello, my name is Uliana Nalivaika. I was born on July 19, 2012, in Minsk, Belarus.
What languages do you speak?I speak Russian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at the age of 5.
Are there other tennis players in your family?Yes, my older sister also plays tennis.
In which club do you train?I train at the Solnechny Tennis Club in Belarus.
Who are your coaches?My tennis coach is Nikolai Andreevich Fedirko, and my physical trainer is Aleksandra Shabanova.
What is your weekly training routine?I train for tennis for 3 hours a day. I do physical conditioning five times a week and yoga once a week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My strongest point is my serve. I want to improve the accuracy of my shots.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I am in the under-14 age group. I am currently 63rd in the national rankings, but a year ago I was 18th because I hadn’t participated in Belarusian tournaments for a year.
What have been your greatest successes so far?I won a U16 third-category tournament in Poland.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I have participated in tournaments in Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, and Belarus.
Do you have any sponsors?No, I don’t have a sponsor.
What is your goal for 2026?I will participate in many tournaments and will start playing on the ITF circuit by the end of the year.
What is your tennis dream?My biggest dream is to win a Grand Slam one day.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite players are Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?Outside of tennis, I don’t have many hobbies, but I enjoy drawing and building with Lego.
