Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi, I’m Carmen Azar. I’m 15 years old, turning 16 on September 9th.
I’m Lebanese and live in a city called Rabieh, not too far from BeirutAt what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was just 3 years old.Are there other tennis players in your family?
Tennis runs in my family everyone plays! My older brother has a scholarship to one of the top universities in the USA, Johns Hopkins University. My younger brother plays and wins local tournaments in Lebanon, and many other family members including my parents, cousins, aunts, and uncles are also tennis players.What is your club?
I don’t belong to a specific club, but I train on a court in Beirut with my coach, Feras Dabous, and sometimes at clubs like Bidan Academy and NJK Tennis Academy.Who is your coach?
I’ve been training with my coach Feras Dabous for the past 7 years.How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I practice every day for about 2 to 3 hours.Do you have any sponsors?

I play with the Babolat Pure Drive racket.What is your junior category, what is your national ranking, what are your best results?
My current ITF ranking is 2512.
Most of my best performances have been in Lebanon, where I’ve been ranked number 1 in my age group since I was 10 years old.In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
I’ve traveled and competed in many countries, including Cyprus, England, Belgium, Jordan, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, France, and Sri Lanka.What is your tennis dream?
I don’t have one specific dream in tennis for me, it’s a beautiful sport that I truly love.
I believe the key to success isn’t just physical strength, but also mental resilience.
My main goal is to attend a strong university in the USA and compete on the college tennis team.Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My favorite tennis player has always been Rafael Nadal.Thanks a lot Carmen!
