Hello, introduce yourself please.
Mi name is Savelii Gurov, I am 11 years old, I am Russian, I live in the big city of Yekaterinburg (1.5 million citizens), the capital of Ural in Russia.

What languages do you speak?
I speak Russian and English

At what age did you start playing tennis?
3.5 year

Are there other tennis players in your family?
My father plays tennis as a amateur, and my little sister plays as a professional too

In which club do you train?
Grinvich Tennis Academy

Who are your coaches?
I have a team of coaches. Briukhovets Elena, Gubarev Gregorii, Gorelkin Nikolai are my tennis coaches and my GPP (General Physical Preparedness) coach is Tokarevskikh Tatiana.

What is your weekly training routine?
I practice tennis 6 times a week, ~3 hour personal tennis training, ~6 hours group tennis training, ~2-3 hours GPP training and 1 hour swimming

What is your best shot and things you need to improve?
My best shot is the slice and I need to improve my serve.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?
I play in U13 category in Russia.
I am ranked #15 in U13 (players born in 2013 and 2014) and I am ranked #2 amoung players born in 2014.

What are your best results?
My bests results so far are:

• Winner of Khimki Open in July 2024 – U10 category in Russia
• Winner of Meridiana Open in July 2025 – U12 category in Serbia.

In which countries have you already played tennis?
Serbia, Russia, Belarus

What is the first country you dream of playing in?
I dream to play in Australia and France.
