Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Sara Sofía Sánchez Molano, I’m 18 years old, my birthday is on January 10, 2007.
I’m Colombian and I’m living in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 7 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
I’m the first player in the family but my little cousin is starting playing.

What is your club?
Currently, I’m playing college tennis, so I play for LSUS but I represent the league from my department of my country: Ibagué, Tolima.

Who is your coach?
My coach from the University, Akeem, and here I count with a huge teamwork that help me a lot in my process.
However, my main coaches are John Bernal (the head) and Hugo Guayara (my physical training and sometimes my metal coaching)

How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train 3 hours daily and I do 1 or 2 hours of physical conditioning.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?
Currently, I don’t play junior anymore.
I’m playing college tennis and I will start playing some professional tournaments.

What are your best performances?
I have some national preformance in 16 categorie.
For example I won I good amount of national tournaments (grade 1, grade 2, grade 3 and 4) and I play some COSAT tournaments where I achieve some finals and also in College I did good seasons.
I play very good matches against very tough and good players.

Do you have any sponsors?
Currently, I don’t have any sponsor.

What racket do you play with?
I play with the Yonex Vcore 98.

In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
I have played tennis in USA, Colombia and Panama.

What is your tennis dream?
Currently, my tennis dream is been able to play professional tournaments and won my first professional tennis points.

Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
I think that currently, I love to watc playing Shelton, I love his serve, acceleration and charismatic.
Also, I like the game of Sabalenka, her aggressive and encourage and Mirra Andrevaa, I think she is very intelligent and calm playing.
However, I think I always gonna loved Rafa, Roger and Djokovic, I learn a lot of each of them, they give me motivation.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I want to keep studying my career and in a future been able to have my own company related to it. (I think could be related tennis, sports of physical wellness) I don’t know yet ahhahaha
