Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Reina Selmanaj, I’m 13 years old, my date of Birth is January 6, 2012.
I’m Kosovar and my residence is in Gjakova, Kosovo.

What languages do you speak?

Albanian, English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing at 6 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, my sister Benita Selmanaj was a tennis player but she is now a tennis coach.

In which club do you train?

Sporek Tennis Club.

Who are your coaches?

Benita Selmanaj, my sister.

What is your weekly training routine?

3-4 hours a day for 5 days of the week.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

U14 and ranked 3rd.

What has been your greatest achievement?

Being national number 1 in U12.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

I played tournaments in Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Turkey.

Do you have any sponsors?

I have a small sponsorship.

What is your goal for 2026?

To be better in every way physically, mentally and more.

What is your tennis dream?

To be a professional tennis player and to compete in grand slams and to be top 10 in the world.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

I like to run in nature and to paint.
