Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Pamela Brito, and I am 12 years old. I was born on March 10, 2013.
I am Colombian and live in Bogotá.

What languages do you speak?

I speak three languages: Spanish, English, and Italian.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at age 4.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

No, there are no other tennis players in my family.

In which club do you train?

I train at TennisPro360.

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Eduardo García, Felipe Topía, Mauricio Vargas, Fabian Valenzuela and Fernando Luengas.

What is your weekly training routine?

My weekly training routine consists of 5 hours of tennis practice, divided between the morning and afternoon, and one hour of physical training daily.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

My greatest strength is my one-handed backhand, and my area for improvement is my movement on hard courts.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

My national ranking for 12-year-olds is 18, and for 14-year-olds, it is 53.

What has been your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement has been qualifying for the interleague tournament (only three players from each department qualify).

In which countries have you already played tournament?

I have played in tournaments in Colombia and the United States.

Do you have any sponsors?

I don’t have any sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to play my first ITF tournament.

What is your tennis dream?

My tennis dream is to surpass the highest world ranking ever achieved by a Colombian woman and win a Grand Slam.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite tennis players are Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

I like playing video games and soccer.

I dedicate this interview to my parents for supporting me, being there for me, and helping me pursue my dream.
