Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hello, my name is Dima De Bruijn. I am 12 years old and I was born in Utrecht, Netherlands on the 4th of October 2012.
I am half Dutch and half Korean.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started to play tennis at 4,5 years old.Are there other tennis players in your family?
In my family I have a little brother Sergey who also plays tennis on a high level.
My father also played tennis in his youth.What is your club?
My tennis club is TV At Risk in Utrecht.Who is your coach?
My coach is Stefan Gerritsen.How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I play tennis four days a week where 6,5 hours of it is tennis and 2 hours is physical training.Do you have any sponsors?
Currently I don’t have a sponsor.What racket do you play with?
Babolat, Evo Drive is the racquet I play with and it weights 285 grams.
I really like this brand and it was actually so nice that last summer I won one of the Babolat Cup tournaments!What are your best results so far and your national ranking?
My junior category is under 14 years old. My highest ranking was 13 and current ranking is 109.
My best results in tennis have been winning multiple Silver tournaments under 12 years old and I also became a champion of the province of Utrecht in 2024 up to 12 years old.In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
So far I only played tennis in the Netherlands but I would love to play abroad as well.What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to win Roland-Garros.Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My favourite male tennis player is Daniil Medvedev and favourite female tennis player is Daria Kasatkina.Thanks a lot Dima!
