Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Caira Delfina Vega Gudiño, I’m 15 years old, I was born on August 23, 2010.
I live in General Rodríguez, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
What languages do you speak?Spanish, English, and Chinese (both English and Chinese are important languages at my school.
At what age did you start playing tennis?4 years old
Are there other tennis players in your family?No, I’m the only one.
Which club do you train with?I train at Academia Ciudad Tennis in Núñez, Buenos Aires, the Alejandro Cerundolo’s academy.
Who are your coaches?I have many coaches.
What is your weekly training routine?I get up at 5:30 so I can leave home at 5:50 and arrive at the club’s gym at 7:30. I do a warm-up from 7:30 to 9:00 AM, then play tennis from 9:00 to 10:45 AM, and then I go back to the gym at 11:00 AM for a physical training session until 12:00 PM. From 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM I have a break and time for lunch. During this break, I take the opportunity to study and work on my school assignments. From 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM I play tennis again, and from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM I do a recovery session at the gym. Finally, I go home at 5:00 PM to arrive back at school around 7:00 PM.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My greatest strength is not giving up in the face of adversity in each match and always striving to improve a little more.
What is your tennis category and national ranking?My category is Girls Under-16 Girls.
My national ranking is number 1.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?Knowing that it had been 10 years since an Argentinian girl player had reached the level I reached in such a prestigious tournament (Orange Bowl U16).
In which countries have you played tournaments?United States, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina.
Do you have any sponsors?Yes. I use: Head (racquets, bags, string, grip covers) and ProRun (sports insoles).

What is your goal for 2026?Maintain my current rankings and improve my ITF ranking.
What is your tennis dream?My tennis dream is to win the Roland-Garros Grand Slam, both as a junior and as a professional.
Who are your favorite tennis players?Jannik Sinner and Ajla Tomljanović.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?Go out with my family and friends.
