Hello, introduce yourself please.

Hi! I’m Rio Tsuda. I’m 19 years old, born on October 24, 2006.
I was born and raised in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Japanese and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

When I was 2 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

My father and sister. My mother and brother had been playing before.

In which club do you train?

Will Tennis Academy Seto.

Who are your coaches?

My father.

What is your weekly training routine?

I go to the gym twice in a week.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

It’s racket technique. I need to improve my physical strength.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

I’m a uni student category and ranked No.1 in Japan in collegiate tennis currently.

What has been your greatest achievement?

A champion of Japan college tennis tournament.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

Australia, Tunisia and South Korea.

Do you have any sponsors?

I do have.

What is your goal for 2026?

To play without injury and to become a champion of college again

What is your tennis dream?

Just enjoy playing tennis.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Roger Federer.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

Eating, singing and listening to the music.
