Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hello, my name is Rafaela Figueroa Araujo. I’m 9 years old and I live in Lima in Peru.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing when I was 4 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my big brother Juan Manuel (12 yo) is a high ranked U12 player in Peru. Seeing how good tennis player he is, inspires me to keep improving and trying my best.
My little sister, Paula (6 yo), has also started playing tennis.

What is your club?
My club is Rinconada Country Club.

Who is your coach?
My coaches are Ricardo Ramos and Gianmarco Velez.

How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train 10 hours of tennis and 5 hours of physical training per week.

Do you have any sponsors?
No, I don´t have any sponsors yet.

What racket do you play with?
I play with a Babolat Pure Drive Lite.

What is your junior category, what is your national ranking, what are your best results?
My junior category is U10 and my national ranking is 5th.
In junior category U12 my national ranking is 28th.
My best result is Finalist in National tournament U10.

In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
I’ve only played tennis in Peru. I hope to play tennis in other countries in a near future.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to travel around the world playing tennis.

Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
I specially like Paolini because she never gives up and plays with a lot of heart.
