Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Mia Junghanns. I am 17 years old. My date of birth is September 3, 2008.
I am Paraguayan and I live in Colonia Unidas, Paraguay.What languages do you speak?I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at age 4.
Are there other tennis players in your family?My father and brother are tennis players.
In which club do you train?I train at the Complejo La Rubia.
Who are your coaches?My coach is my father.
What is your weekly training routine?My routine consists of one hour at the gym and one hour of physical training from Monday to Friday, and I train for 4 hours a day.
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?I have grit, perseverance, and a never-give-up mentality. I also play with attitude; I don’t back down from anyone.
I want to improve my concentration on key points and work on my stamina. I’m also focused on refining some technical details to continue raising my level.What is your junior category and your national ranking?My age category is 18, and my national ranking is top 5.
What has been your greatest achievement?My greatest success was winning the first Paraguayan National Games, taking home two gold medals and one silver.
In which countries have you already played tournament?I’ve played in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay.
Do you have any sponsors?I’m sponsored by Head Paraguay.
What is your goal for 2026?My goal for 2026 is to play in international tournaments, improve my UTR, and get a university scholarship in the USA.
What is your tennis dream?My tennis dream is to play in a Grand Slam.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal, and I also like Sinner.
What do you like to do outside of tennis?Besides tennis, I like spending time with my family and friends and listening to music.
