Hello tennis world, I am Fabia Mendoza, I have 9 years, I am ecuadorian and I was born a 27 of February of 2016, in the warm and beautiful city of Portoviejo. My history with tennis began when I was 6 years old, when I went to school, because that’s where I first saw a tennis court. And since then I have not stopped, I chose this sport because I love to run, jump and be active all the time.
At home I’m the only tennis player, but I already won my whole family as official fans. I train 6 days a week, 2 hours per day combining technique, coordination and very fast legs. My legs already have their own turbo mode.
My favorite racket and best friend on the court is a 25-inch Babolat Pure Aero. I love her so much that if she spoke she would tell me for sure ‘go Fabio for more’. This year I started competing in the 10 years category and also launched into the world of pickleball.
I have played domestic women’s doubles tournaments in my city, winning twice. My big dream, to be champion of the US Open, and I say it out loud, because I’m working on the court. In the meantime, I love watching TV tournaments on weekends with my parents.
My idols are Carlos Alcaraz for his speed and electric energy, Aryna Sabalenka for her power and fierce spirit.
