Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Amparo Esparza Tejos, I’m 11 years old, born on March 28, 2014.
I’m from Chile, and I live in the city of Cabrero.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 7.Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players, but my family has always been athletic. My dad is a physical trainer, for example.What is your club?
I don’t have a club.Who is your coach?
I have three coaches: Julio Linay, Jaime Soto, and Mauricio Aldea.How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train 15 hours a week in tennis and 1.5 hours a day in the gym.Do you pay attention to your diet, food and drink?
Yes, obviously, nutrition is essential.What are your junior category, your best results so far and your national ranking?
I’m not even a junior. I just started playing federated tennis this year, and my best ranking is 42.What are your best performances?
Last year, I won several tournaments on the Entretenis and Tenis Chile circuits.
I also played in school tournaments and was a finalist in all of them.
A total of 16 podium finishes were achieved last year, 2024.Do you have any sponsors?
I’ve been part of the Babolat team (Chile) since last year, and I’m sponsored by Sporthouse.What racket do you play with?
I play with the Babolat Pure Aero Rafa.In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
